Dr. David Lorenz
Pastor David was called to lead FBC in August 2016. He and his wife, Brandie, were married in 1999 and they have three boys (Reid, Evan, Tate). David has served several churches in Texas and Florida over the past 20 years in ministry. He has a passion to teach and lead people to live out their faith. As senior pastor, his desire is to equip our church to reach our community and beyond with the gospel. He earned his Masters of Divinity and Ph.D. from Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth. When he’s not at church, you can find he and Brandie leading (or following) the boys around an athletic field or music competition.
Moe has served as the Administrator/Campus Operations Manager of FBCF since 2005, handling the day to day operations, personnel, financials, facilities and works with each ministry of the church. He was licensed to Gospel Ministry February 8, 2009, and is also an ordained deacon at FBCF February 23, 1997. He has a heart for service and served as a Houston Firefighter and EMT for 28 years for the City of Houston. He also serves as a Chaplain for the City of Friendswood Police Department. Moe and his wife, Sherry, have been married for 36 years and have three children and four grandchildren.
| Stephanie Moses
Stephanie joined the FBCF team as Minister to Children November 24, 2002. She graduated from Sam Houston State University and has completed additional studies at Southeastern Louisiana University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She and husband Kyle have been married for 20 years and have two sons, Jake and Luke. Stephanie was licensed to ministry in April of 2004. In addition to overseeing all aspects of the FBCF Children’s Ministry she also works to keep our social media up to date.
Matt came on staff at FBCF March 7, 2005, and was ordained to the Gospel Ministry April 10, 2005. Matt has an undergraduate degree from Houston Baptist University and is currently working on his masters of divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Shannon and they have four children.
Dr. Bill Tharp
Dr. Tharp joined the staff here at FBCF November 6, 2006. He serves as Worship Pastor for the 9:30am Sunday Service. He also serves as small group pastor and as a counselor on staff. He was ordained to the Gospel Ministry by FBC Old Ocean, TX, September 26, 1982. His education includes Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary, Master’s degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary and Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. He and his wife, Frances, have been married for 38 years and they have four grown children and seven grandchildren.
